What an awesome, in depth review! We have never been, although were tempted when they had an autism day before the park opened this spring (not enough notice for us to arrange our schedules). A friend took his 11 year old who has severe autism, and he was excited beyond belief to meet Elmo!

I too have a rule about not going to parks on the weekend, unless it is too early in the season for the crowds to be there yet. I broke that rule last Saturday to visit StoryLand in NH for PBS Kids day and I paid with a sliver of my remaining shreds of sanity.

This was an AWESOME review and I will definitely be taking Princess to Sesame Place if my aunt scores free passes from her employer.

But Knoebels has been one of my favorites. Why did you have to let everyone else know about it?!

Parent Bloggers Network will be posting links to the other reviews in the very near future. Make sure to check these out - other families had a somewhat better time at the park, and I'm sure that there are tricks to achieving success that I completely missed out on.

There are some good reviews on Trip Advisor. A lot of people suggested buying a two-day pass and spreading out the fun (and leaving once the crowds got too big), and others suggested renting a hotel room and taking the afternoon for naps, then going back in the evening when, again, there are fewer crowds.

I definitely think that our biggest roadblock to fun was going on a weekend. If I had to do it over again, I'd go on a Tuesday. I think that Tuesday's are traditionally and statistically the lower crowd days at most amusement parks.

Okay, maybe I just made that up, buy I've found it to be true. :-)

Wow, this is a great review. My sister and I were thinking of rendezvousing there this summer with our 5 kids (and husbands), but now I wonder whether it won't just be exhaustion x 1kajillion. Frankly, I'd rather take all that money from our 9 admissions and rent a lake house for the weekend somewhere that no one's ever heard of. Your review kind of makes me want to do that even more. For which I thank you.
